nice to meet you...
From an early age, I've been captivated by the world of visual arts, a passion that has seamlessly evolved into my professional journey.
My artistic path began with a BFA in Illustration, specializing in Consumer Licensing from the Academy of Art University (AAU). While refining my craft at school in the heart of San Francisco, I was recognized and awarded in the AAU Spring Show, featured in the school wide newspaper and worked as a Motion Picture and Film tutor.
Upon graduation I shifted to become a high school visual arts educator, where I shared my passions as an instructor in the fields of studio art, graphic design, film, photography, and executive functioning. My dedication and leadership abilities led me to the role of the electives department head at the institution, overseeing the visual and performing arts, as well as world languages, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment for the team.
I currently serve as the Associate Director of Social Media & Creative Communications at Silicon Valley International School (INTL), where I bring together my broad design skills and educational background to enhance the Communications Department. My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including project management, social media, digital marketing, video content production, photography, and graphic design. My unique perspective, shaped by years as both an educator and an artist, has added a valuable dimension to the creative strategies at INTL.
Outside of my professional life, I am deeply immersed in the arts. Whether it's hand-throwing ceramics, carving linoleum stamps, or plein air watercolor sketching in nature, I embrace every opportunity to create. As a lifelong learner, I’m always exploring new methods of artistic expression.
